Motorola Q

I've had my Q for over a year and I feel pretty well-versed in operating it and tweaking all the settings. However, I've recently run into an issue that I'm hoping someone can shed some light on. Last week the volume on my Q all of the sudden lowered itself. Ringtones and earpiece volume are still fine. The only tones that seem to be lowered to near silent are the tone the Q makes when I plug in a charger and the notification tones when I receive an new IM on IM+. When I attempt to use Voice Recognition I can barely hear the prompts. I never had this problem before last week.

I have gone into System Sound Volume as it appears this would be the most likely "culprit" even though those settings have not been changed. When I do set that to Silent, there are no sounds at all. When I set it back to Loud, the tones in question are barely audible. Any ideas as to what might be causing this and how to fix it?
