Text question on the Q

When receiving a text is there any way that the txt alert can be silenced?? Like if you go into a meeting and forget to silence the phone and you get a txt how can you shut it up in a hurry?! I can't find it anywhere...Please help.

Go to your Profiles and then edit the particular Profile your using at the time. There is a setting in there that will help you out. You just need to turn the volume down.

well what about the other question....is there a way to shut it up quickly. ie on any other normal phone when u get a text and u check it the alert stops on this retarded phone it keeps on going...causing lots of embarrasment when u have a crazy alert and you're in a place where it isn't appropriate...any answers???

If you open the message you should get that reminder alert. Or you can go into settings and turn off the Unread Message Alert.

hi...its the unread message alert that I continue to hear its the original "ringtone". So lets say "beethovns 5th" is the alert I have for incoming texts...when I open the message beethovns 5th continues to play until it is finished despite the fact that I opened and read the message....whats that about?

Yeah thats just how the phone reacts. Just select an alarm chime or some other sound that is short and that should help you. Other wise I don't believe there is any way to fix your problem.
