Volume on Media Player

Hey gang - my earpiece volume is all the way up, as is the Media Player volume... but it's still quiet as hell.

What am I missing? My ringtones are plenty loud when I get a call, so my speaker appears to be working fine.

Suggestions??

Thanks in advance.

I did not know that hell is QUIET 🤣 😉

For real, have you tried another earpiece? is it the one that came with the phone? Is it bluetooth or wired?

Actually I'm talking about playing music with the external speakers - but your comment made me wonder, so I plugged in the wired headset from the Music Essentials kit, and had the same issue - it was much quieter than it should be.

Like I said, everything else is great as far as volume (like ringers), it's just the media player...

ideas??

I've had the same issue. 3 times at that. I had to reset the phone. That's what worked for me. Very lame. Good luck

Double check your ear piece volume is turn all the way up. hold the scroll wheel in for a couple seconds and then turn the volume up.
Hope this helps.

I have the issue offten. There are two volumes that effect the sound level on media player. One is the easy to understand volume level control that is controled by the scroll wheel and displayed on the skin. The other is dern hard to find and I am not going to be a lot of help but I can tell you how I found it.

Media player was running low volume for me altough I had it turned all the way up. Both speakers and earpiece seemed low and in fact were. ths screen indicated 100% volume though. I tried and tried to get it louder and no luck. Then later on the same day I went back to an aplication I had been using, MobiTv. On Mobi TV the volume can be adjusted too when watching tv. I had turned it down to a mid range setting. When I tu...

Hold down the scroll wheel for a couple of seconds, there will be a horizontal bar that shows up with the vonlume level. The other way you can try to turn up the volume is to lock the phone then turn up the wheel. Hope this helps.
