Moto Q Question

Okay my question is this... I have Alltel and I am thinking about buying a Q...I want to check my email but I have no interest in using the blackberry service or paying the extra $44.95 a month...The Q can check normal POP email accounts by simply logging in and downloading the email like any other client...Do I really need anything other then mobile web to be able to do this? I am okay with having it use the internet once an hour for like 2 minutes to check an email account. This is feasible right?

Help!

Thanks!

Yep, that's all what is needed, the Q an Internet connection and a POP email; about feasibility it depends on the amount of emails that you are getting.

how do you get email with out paying for service of unlimited internet? Does it push or do you have to check it manually? Is there any cost to doing it your suggested way?

Okay check it out. Basically if you don't buy the phone through Alltel, and don't tell them you bought a Q, you will be fine. There is a code on your account that lets regular phones (non pda or smartphones) use the high speed internet network. They are supposed to take this code off when you get a PDA or Smartphone but if you don't get the phone from them, they don't know and you can continue to use the feature to check email without a problem.

Hope this helps..
