MINI SD!?? How to use??HELP , PLEASE!???

If I want to record ringtones onto an SD card, can someone PLEASE give me step by step instructions on how to do that? I've posted before but oddly enough have not seen an answer.

If you have mp3s, they'll be accesssible to use as ringtones.

DOH, hit the wrong button.

Ok, HERE is what you do.
the Q can use WMA or MP3 files as ringtones.
Since you have 64mb on the phone, you only want to copy one file to the phone at a time, use just file you want as the ringtone.

In activesync, or on the Q itself (using File manager, copy your ringtone file to \application data\sounds
on the Q.
Then in the sounds menu, you will see that file selectable as a ringtone.
Leave the rest of your files on the memory card.
You dont want to use up precious space on the Q's internal memory with ringtones your not using.

bear in mind too, if your song has "dead air" in the beginning of the song, your ringer wont know that so you may miss the first few seconds of the phone ringing. So try to ...

I just messed around with my Q some more.
It appears the Sounds menu will see all MWV, WMA, MP3 files in the following locations
\application data\sounds
and under
\storage card\ (anywhere on the root of the card)
root meaning not in a folder, just put the file directly on the card.

So put your ringer in those places and your good to go. Putting it on the memory card is better, free's up more onboard memory for the phone to use.
