ipod owners help

I am sure I am not the only one in this situation but I own a load of itunes music but it wont play on my q. I there any music download site that will allow my to put my music on both devices, ipod and Motorola Q??

Good question, I have an ipod, and soon getting a Q from my job. I plan on doing exactly what your saying.

1. The music in iTunes, if its purchased music from the iTunes store then its DRM'd its not going to play. However, there is a way around it. If you burn music to a cd-r in itunes, you can then rip it back un-drm'd.

2. If you ripped it all from your own cd's into iTunes, did you use AAC or MP3, if its MP3 then it should work. If you ripped them to AAC then Windows media player will not play AAC files. There could possibly be a 3rd part app for Q phones you might be able to install that might allow for AAC playback.
But as per the Verizon manual that comes with the phone, AAC will not play on in Windows Media Player.

This is exactly why I don't buy music from iTunes anymore. It's easier to buy the cd, rip it to my computer, and use it EVERYwhere, ie.- pc, Xbox 360, iPod, and yes, Motorola Q.
