I don't get it.

How funny is this? You click on Motorola phones, and you see about 10 or 12 phones that have come out before the Q. VZW just sucks when it comes to phones. They know it, and don't give us that BS... We want to make sure the phone works right and not have bugs before we put it on the market. You guys screw it up even when it does hit the market. Just give us the phone, and we will make it work. Can you hear us now?? VZW customers. The most frustrated customers in the business.

Damn right. A friend of mine works for Intel, as an engineer in new product development (the point being: he is very well-versed in technology).
Anyway - he says that Verizon has had the monopoly on great coverage for a while, but now the other companies are developing more and improving their service and gaining more access to bandwidth, etc. I don't know what half the ****e he said even means. But the bottom line was that in the near future, those other companies are going to be even better than Verizon.
So VZW's BS with their lame phone release habits is going to come back and bite them, one day soon.
Don't know if that's much comfort, but there ya go.

I don't mean to defend Verizon, but this phone has gone through six hardware revisions in the last few months. One thing that they changed was the backlighting (guess the backlighting was pretty much worthless). The article is listed in one of these posts if you wanna take the time to find it....

I have read the post, and I stick to what story. You may only be talking about the Q when defending VZW, but VZW has failed their customers when it comes to the higher end phones like the Q. I agree, you can't just look at one phone launch, but after 4 or 5 you start to see a trend. VZW trend with these types of phones is not good.
