There's not a Q in sight.
Q, the much-anticipated new Motorola phone that will compete with the popular BlackBerry device, was supposed to launch in 2006's first quarter.
Its delay follows two recent Motorola production glitches, but Wall Street analysts said they aren't worried--as long as Q lands on store shelves in April.
The Q "is in final tests with our launch customer," Motorola spokesman Alan Buddendeck said in an e-mail. Motorola won't name the customer, but analysts say it is Verizon Wireless.
