Alright, so I'm sick of all the guessing. Here is an email address to the executive office at VZW: execoffice.socal@verizonwireless.com

I've used it before, and with enough pressure, something always seems to break loose. The responses are sort of cookie cutter, but there is actually someone typing them in, because while the message is the same, the verbage always differs a bit.

Anywho, fire 'em off boys. And keep at it. Eventually, they'll get the ok to talk to one of us, and we'll be the first to KNOW.

ATTAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!

Well, I finally got my reply. And lo and behold, Ron, the same guy who was answering inquiries about the i730 before it was released, is still there. So here goes:

Dear [InOverMyHead],

Thank you for contacting Verizon Wireless. My name is Ron, and I appreciate your interest in the Motorola Q phone.

At this time, Verizon Wireless has not publicly released any information or details on this phone. If information becomes available in the future, it will be posted on our website.

We appreciate you taking the time to contact us, and thank you for choosing Verizon Wireless.

Sincerely,

Ron

Seems like an Automated Response... Here's the reply I got:

Dear (bcdIT83),

Thank you for contacting Verizon Wireless. My name is Ron, and I appreciate your interest in the Motorola Q Phone. I understand your desire to obtain a release date, however Verizon Wireless has not publicly announced any information on this phone, including a potential release date.

If information becomes available, it will be posted on our website.

We appreciate your business. Thank you for using Verizon Wireless products and services. Should you have additional questions or concerns, please reply to this e-mail.

Sincerely,

Ron

Actually, the two are quite different. While the information is close to the same, the formatting is entirely different. And in yours, he noted that he understood your desire to know a release date while in mine he ignored it.

Like I said, all the responses will be close, but slowly, info will leak.

Keep at it.

Well, I've tried again. Frustrated with the failure of the coming soon rumor, I emailed Ron. Let's see if we get anywhere.

Here was the response:

"Thank you for contacting Verizon Wireless. I understand your desire for information on the Motorola Q phone. Unfortunately, I cannot substantiate any of the internet rumors, as Verizon Wireless has not publicly released any information on this phone.

When the information is released, it will be listed on our website."

That last part is a bit of a change, saying "when" information is released vs "if" information is released.

Still, disappointing.
