It appears good ole Verizon did something different with how the bluetooth works on my Silver Motorola Q (yes I have the most recent software updates from motorola)
Even though Aliph says on their site the jawbone doesnt work with the Q, I wanted to try anyway.
When I purchased it at the verizon store, I asked if they knew any problems with it not working with the Q, they all had blank stares (gee thats nothing new)
The Q and the Jawbone will answer and end a few calls and let me voice command start a new call, but after a few uses, it starts to get buggy.

The Jawbone itself is a super awesome headset.

You knew full well that it wouldn't work right going into the sync whether it worked intially or not. 🤨

Why would you even buy the Q knowing that the Q would not support Aliph's bluetooth??

I got the Q 2 years ago when it first came out.
I'm going to upgrade to to the Samsung I760 or the Moto Q9M both work just ducky with the BT Jawbone.

I owned the Q long before the Jawbone was ever released in BT, heck back then the wired version was still new.

Also, to add to this post.
I emailed Aliph support and asked if the firmware on the At&t jawbones was different from the
firmware on the Verizon jawbones, it is different.
The Verizon model has "optimized code for CDMA phones" so there is in fact a difference.
They cited an echo when the GSM jawbone was used on a CDMA handset. Thats why they made a revised model with the different firmware.

Whatever you want to call it, the Jawbone works.
love it love it love it....
