I see that there is a similar post to this but I wanted to just ask for help in putting ringtones/songs onto my Q. I cannot figure out how to convert my songs in windows media player into mp3s and then put them on the memory card. A verizon rep told me that the easiest way is to use Windows Media Player but for some reason, I can't figure it out . Anyone have the time to help?

Hi, I am using Sprint, but I guess it is almost the same thing, you can use this site to convert your WMAs to MP3s
http://www.zamzar.com »
but if your songs are protected, I don't think you can do that, so make sure that the song you are using is not protected, the convert them using ZamZar; What I do after that is putting them on my card then either copy them or move them to the folder
Application DataSounds
using the File Manager.

Again this is on my Sprint Q, I do not know how folders are named on Verizon! but I am guessing it is the same OS.

let me know if that helps.
Good Luck
