When I had my blackberry, my hotmail was pushed through. So that is why I was asking! Why must I constantly go into hotmail and hit send/receive? Kind of annoying!!!

What you need to do is use your hotmail login and on your phone click on the msn logo. After you login it will stay logged in as long as you have coverage. Then when you get a hotmail email, it will be instantly delivered to your Q. This is the only way you can do it. It's not push, but damn close.

Enjoy!

I use Windows Live Mobile to get alerted when I receive Hotmail messages. You can choose all emails, emails from all your contacts or emails from specific email addresses. When you recieve an email that meets your criteria, it sends you a brief text message with the first sentence or two. You can use text messaging and reply to the message with "m" and it will send you another few sentences and so on.

I also have Hotmail set up as an email account. When I go into Messaging, select Hotmail, then Menu > Send/Receive, it prompts for password and then pulls down my inbox messages. You can select what folders to pulldown - I just have mine pull down inbox messages only.
