? about MPEG files

I downloaded some MPEG video clips to my miniSD card, and "updated" my library in the Windows Media Player, but the file is nowhere to be found in the library and WMP will not let me browse for the file I want to play.

Essentially, the video on the card is useless beause I cannot figure out how to play it.

Any suggestions?

Personally, I have been unable to get mpeg files to play on the mobile windows media player. I converted my files to 3gp and they play ok, except the audio doesnt line up with the video. Ive yet to find a good answer to this question.

google "3gp converter" and see what you come up with. find a program tat works for you and convert the files to 3gp. maybe you'll have a beter experience and come back and edubacate us on it.

mpeg will not work with the windows media player on the Q. Incredibly stupid in my opinion, since the majority of videos are mpeg. But there's a fabulous client called TCMP I have downloaded that should play them. I haven't tried it yet, but that's what I've been told works from the Motorola forum.

Or you can convert your files to wmv format. Works very well with the Windows Media Player on your phone. If you search, you will find there are quite a few websites that tell you how to do this.
