not all blue tooth will hook up to the computer. some only to head sets and some to printers. my wife has this phone and it only connects to headsets and printers. get the cable or spent the money on a plan that lets you send email and email them. my wife got the phone to make calls on first. since she hard of hearing and needs hearing aids to to hear with i got this phone. so this phone works. the rest is a bonus. if you can not hear on a phone then the rest of the phone is mute. i got the zx20 by samsung. so i can download stuff with the card and card reader. my phone is lound for me but not nearly as loud as lg. i think if you need a loud clear phone lg got you. it also got the loudest speaker phone beat zx20 but again i hear the faintest wisper.
