LG CG300

I'm working on a multi-phone deal (3) with Cingular and I'm leaning to the LG CG300 for the following reasons: 1) Push To Talk, 2) Camera Phone, 3) Speakerphone, 4) Price ($0 migrating from AT&T).

--I need some information on the camera that I can't seem to find. 1) Is there a decent flash, 2) What zoom(s) are available to select from?

--On the Push To Talk service ($20/mo) is the coverage area the same as the phone coverage area with Cingular?

I would appreciate answers to these questions and any additional comments you may have.

yeah it has 3x digital zoom with flash.. it works really good. I'm not sure about the PTT coverage, you may wanna ask cingular about that (800-331-0500) But overall the phone works great! love it! 🙂 - Jenna

the PTT only works with Cingular. It wont work with other carriers due to the software Cingular puts in the phone. 🙂

Push To Talk will work wherever you have cellular service! If you are looking at the Push to Talk phones that are available I would suggest the LG over the Samsung. It has a lot more features...minus voice activated dialing, but phone wise it is much better than the Samsung. Only drawback to the LG is that is does not have a long talk time at all. Not every impressed with the battery life at all.

Well, we've had the phones almost a year and I thought that I would comment back about them.

Overall, we have been satisfied with the phones. They have performed OK and have not had any service work. We only use the basic services and seldom use text messaging, etc. We found the Push To Talk (PTT) not very useful to us, so forget that monthly fee.

- Battery performance is acceptable
- The camera is handy and takes decent pictures, but the flash is not very useful since you have to turn it on/off (doesn't just flash with a picture like a camera)
- The 3x zoom works well
- Speed dialing works OK, if I can recall what # is who, but I miss voice activated calling
- Speaker phone feature is not that great and is often hard to he...
