I am as well frustrated about the lack of a 24 hour format clock. This is probably the tenth sanyo I have owned, and not a single on has had the option to change the time format, or even set the time yourself for that matter. Although the clock is automatically set by the system, the ability to operate independently of the system time would be welcome.
