I NEED HELP I CAN'T DECIDE BETWEEN THE SANYO MM-7500 OR THE SAMSUNG A-920. I NEED HELP!!!!!!
I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE HORRORS OF THE SAMSUNGS RECEPTION BUT IT DOES HAVE NICE FEATURES. I CURRENTLY HAVE A SANYO VI-2300 WHICH IS COOL OTHER THAN NO EXTRA FEATURES.

The A-920 has full-open Bluetooth and card slot for a transflash card and a better screen. HOWEVER, Sanyo's will probably always have better reception than Samsung's. The 920 does blow away the more expensive RAZR wanna-be 900... the earpiece and battery life is horrible although it's screen is amazing and could get you laid it's so nice! 🙂

ITs a touch decision for sure, forget about bluetooth, samsungs have it, but the blue tooth sucks, bluetooth has NEVER kept its promises so dont buy into all the bluetooth hype. I did look at a 920, its the best thing from samsung yet, reception has always been a problem with samsungs on SPRINT, an area where the Sanyo phones always excel, Samsung does seem to be improving though. The rubberized grips on the 7500 are very nice, its a good phone but I would suggest you wait, unfortunatly, the great features of the 7400 were not carried over onto the 7500 like the full sized changeable face plates, a protective bezel ring around the external lcd and larger size which makes the 7400 a joy to operate though the 7500 isnt bad, good camera, excel...

Well for one thing the size, the full sized changeable face plate, the bezel over the external screen (helps to protect it from scratches), the nice ringers that are loud and sound like a phone should and the nice internal 2.1 inch screen, the 7500 has a smaller screen 1.8 inches and higher resolution making everything look alot smaller.
The 7500 is a good phone though, and is now 299 full price instead of 379, sprint reps tell me a new sanyo is coming next week.

i had the 7400 and now own the 920, the mp3 player is a cool feature and its nice to have the controls on the outside and such, the upgradable memory is also a good aspect, but honestly, the little things are already piling up after about 2 weeks. the menu systems in the 920 arent as good in my opinion, the text message process is different and not by much but enough that you'll notice it and possibly grow to hate it. for some reason the 920 wont allow me to change the external display it just tells me repeatedly to set the main screen saver first. the ear piece in the 920 doesnt really compare either, the stereo speakers are decent for a phone, the hinge is good but it lacks the sanyo click and its definitly nowhere near as durable as an...
