I wrote a review of the phone, but ran out of space before I got to the complaints. And they don't let you post two reviews. 😕 So I continue here.

My biggest complaint is that, when the phone rings, the caller id info is not shown on the mini-display. You have to open the fold to see who is calling. I like to have opening automatically answer, though, so it is too late to screen. I know this sounds ridiculous and I must not have the options set right. By any chance did you use this phone with the Acura hands free system? I have been waiting almost a year for a new SPrint phone to be released that passes the Acura tests for their system. This phone is on the currently being tested list.

My 6165i works with my Parrot CK3100 carkit. This took a reflash up to the latest firmware to make work.

I know you've got a different carkit in your Acura. Parrot OEMs kits for other vendors. You might want to investigate to see if they're making it for Acura.

Before the firmware update, the CK3100 would not pair with the 6165i.

'Hope this helps.

I don't have an Acura, but it works fine with the hands-free system in my Toyota 4Runner. The only problem is that the Toyota is willing to accept a download of the address book from the phone, but there isn't a way to send it.

I also use bluetooth with the PCSync feature, and it works very well. And the Sync software is excellent. Much better than I expected.
