Nokia 6165i

I wrote a review of the phone, but ran out of space before I got to the complaints. And they don't let you post two reviews. So I continue here.

My biggest complaint is that, when the phone rings, the caller id info is not shown on the mini-display. You have to open the fold to see who is calling. I like to have opening automatically answer, though, so it is too late to screen. I know this sounds ridiculous and I must not have the options set right. Maybe so, but I'm pretty savvy technically and I've spent a long time trying to get that information on the display. No success.

In my old phone you could save a picture of one your contacts in the address book and it would show that picture on the mini-display when that number called. In this phone, you can save a picture the same way (and the camera works well) but I can't get the darn thing to show!

The only other weakness I've noticed is in dialing a number from the phone book. If you dial directly from the name list, you will dial the default number for that person. The default is settable, but you can't tell what it is without opening the phone book entry. On my Sanyo, each entry in the phone book list had a little symbol (letter) next to it showing which number would be dialed. (H, W, M, etc.) And you could switch the number without actually opening the entry.
