Can't Wait, What Carriers Do You think will have this?

Mar 23, 2006, 11:59 AM
I'm So psyched about this phone coming out. My Nokia 6800 was the best phone I've ever had. I love to text and I love the form factor of the flip keypad over the slider. It stays small but its more sturdy and the keypad is a lot better protected in the flip models than it is in the sliders. Nokia has always been my favorite brand, they make the best phones, and they always work great no matter what carrier network you have unlike some of its competitors (LG to name the worst). Does anyone know of any carriers that are likely to pick this phone up and about how much it retails for? I'm at work and we have very limited internet access so I can't view the sales websites. Thanks!! Very Happy

The specs shows Tri band GSM with 850 and 900 options. Most likely will be for Cingular or TMobile.

Heard it may launch in Brazil first.

Apparently the phone is GSM 900 and not GSM 850 which poses some problems for the larger GSM US carriers.

Looks like the E70-2 is for US, and E70-1 is not gonna work here. I don't really care as long as i got my 850 band. But Now i feel split about my w810i...
