Nokia N80
looking at buying N80 on Cingular
I have been reading reviews on various sites about this phone while I narrow down the selection. I've read a few that mention the phone is slow - I decided to come here where I can hear from the peanut gallery what issues you've had with the phone or things I should be aware of.

I just got it on ebay.
N80 IE edision. I think it is pretty good. But have to turn off the 3G off otherwise the other end would sounds horrible!! I'm trying to figure out more on the phone. It has so much crap in it. I was looking at the Nokia N95, it cost like $700. this was half the price so. Not too bad.

once att allow this phone to work on 3g. You going to need a new sim card. Unless you already have the 3g sim card

I bought the N80 (not the IE) on ebay 2 months ago to use with Cingular. The screen is so sharp that you can read the tiniest font. One complaint I have is the battery life - you'll need to charge it every day. And yes, it is a little slow with some functions. Turning it on takes a while. Last night I was updating a few contacts and selecting "Edit" took a few seconds to open the contact. I also have had it reboot itself a few (maybe 3) times, but I haven't done any Nokia updates, though I know Nokia has made one available, and maybe an update would fix that.
I also have used the WiFi to connect to the Internet at home. I didn't use it much, so I don't remember the speed, but Web pages rendered very very well (much better than my Cingular...
