Know the number to the Chicago Nokia Flagship Store?
I know this store does not open until June 21st, but has anyone found out what there phone number will be? I'd like to be the first call the day they open 🤣 . Of course my first question will find out if they have a 1900 wcdma phone.

No luck. I am planning to ask someone I know who works in the Nokia Information booth in Atlanta. I will post any information received. Like you I am interested in the wdcma 1990.

That would be great if you could get that info. What a HUGE help. The thing is, I figure it might take some time for it to show up, even with online yellowpages. So I don't know of any other way of finding it. Although, I could maybe call 411??? Hmmm... wonder if I could do that now. The phone company would of course be the first to have the information....

here is an update on the store opening. off course typical nokia. according to the washington post edition dated june 19, the nokia store will open this saturday. the article link is:

Cross your fingers guys! Tomorrow is the big opening day for Nokia in Chi town. 😁 Let's hope they've got a wcdma 1900 version.

The phone number you left was for the display store across the street. You did, however, get me pointed in the right direction. The guy that answered gave me the right phone number. I got ahold of a guy named Bill at the flagship store. Here's the deal:
He said they do have Nokia N80's that are selling for $600, but it is not the U.S. version, therefore it does not support wcdma 1900 😢 He told me he has already had 3 people that came into the store asking him the same question. He said to call back in a couple of weeks to see if they have it then. He acted like he could stress the need for one of these phones and that he may know the right people to talk to about it. The sale person I spoke to had no idea when Nokia will start selling the WCDMA 1900. I am not holding my breath. With Nokia a couple of weeks could mean months. Nokia needs to have the US version N80 available sooner than later. Time will tell.

I'm glad you actually spoke to a rep. I'm obviously disappointed that they aren't selling the US version now. Although it's driving me crazy, I'm going to wait for a month to see if Nokia does start to sell the US version. I went to the Nokia website today and signed up for the email notification for announcements regarding the N80.

i think everyone should do just that, sign up for the email notification and they'll realize how many people want this phone. While i was on the site a pop up asked me to do a survey for nokia.com so i ded, and any option where i could choose other or if it asked me to explain, i'd mention the N80. Like what was the purpose of your visit, To check on the N80. I know by the time the study is done and nokia gets the info probably won't do much but whatever, worth a shot.
I'm gonna hold off till september/october i guess. I'm using a imate kjam now and i'm happy with it, and if it doesn't come out by then the htc hermes/tytn will be out then from cingular so i'll go to that if the n80 never shows.
