Why Make IT a SLIDER??

JUST make it a Candy Bar rather than a slider considering its thickness.

Understood that it packs in 3G/ 3MP camera, wifi and some good stuff in general.. but why make it a slider.. start off with a thick candy bar phone and than work the way down to a thinner slider when nokia has mastered the technology and the footprint..

If you can do without WiFi, then the N73 is what you want. You'd get a better camera, too.

How better is that camera on the N73 ? I understand they have better lenses, but they didn't release any specs on the N80 camera. I mean we only know the MP and some other things from wich u can not tell how good is the camera. Where can I find all the specs on the cameras for N80 and N73?

Any N73 camera review around ? I can't find any .

The N73 has Carl Zeiss lenses and is auto-focus. Those both improve quality considerably, and the N80 has neither.

We posted some sample pics from an N73 in our recent report from the launch event:

I read the article a few days ago, very nice one, still, the pictures taken with the N73 are small size; seems to be nice quality camera, but I would really like to see a full comparision between N73 and N80 whenever you guys have the time to do it. Because with the N80 I can get Wifi and a 3.0 mp camera(plus bluetooth ..etc) I consider that phone as my next phone; but on the other side the quality of the pictures are important to me. So I would really like to see if I should stick with the richer features N80 or I should wait for the better camera N73. Is it enough better to drop the N80 and jump to the N73 ?

The pics on the N80 are decent, but lack of autofocus holds it back. Definitely better than the pics I saw taken with the prototype, though. 😁
