Can I apply E61's firmware update to E62?

Hi:

I just bought the E62 from Cingular. I'm curious, can I apply the E61 firmware available on the Nokia Europe web site to the E62?

Furthermore, what exactly does the new firmware get me?

have you tried this yet? did it work? the new firmware will enable you to install more third party software on the phone. it does more but that's all i know.

I'm very curious about this, as the e62 has no firmware update, and the e61 has a few and a lot of improvements.

is it possible?
