T-Mobile vs. Cingular?

Which is better for Blackberry? I know there are minor differences like the YIM client can't be used on cingular and I heard a rumor that MMS doesn't work. Also that T-Mobile customer support is kind of lacking. Any other problems or issues? Or any downsides for a BB on T-mobile? Please share.

I started with Cingular and then unlocked my 8700 and switched to T-Mobile.

Cingular had slightly better signal strength but since I live in a major metropolitan area, that didn't matter much because T-Mobile has towers all over here (southern California) and a roaming agreement with Cingular.

When I switched to T-Mobile, which I did for purely economic reasons (the rate was MUCH cheaper for T-Mobile then and I have since recouped my early termination fees), everything worked fine. Yahoo instant messaging even started working which it would not under CIngular (and it works great).

I recently had to call T-Mobile when I switched back to the 8700 after trying several other different phones and the customer service was outstanding. I ...
