Signal Strength verse the Sidekick 2

So i live at University of San Francisco and I have a sidekick 2, one problem I get horrile signal there. I was wondering if the blackberry would be any better.
Can anyone let me know

the sidekick 2 isn't well known for it's reception. My 8700g gets great reception where my k750 wouldn't work.

the problem is not the phone it is your service.. t-mobile sucks which is why they throw so many minutes at you.. they are years behing the other carriers as far as network performance.. also the sidekick is for highscool girls get a real pda
