I am in a debate whether to get the 8700 or stick with my 7100g! I'm on Cingular and was just curious the difference. I like the full QWERTY keyboard of the 8700 and the display looks 10x's better than the 7100, but honestly is it worth the change???

Thanks.... 😁

8700 Hands Down, providing you have ablackberry for the normal reasons. You get lots of email and like to responde using the device. This is asier using a full key board.

Text messaging is much easier. The 8700 is the newer device with more features and more memory.

If you are leaning towards a phone you may consider the 7100. If I needed a phone I would stick with the 8700 and a bluetooth earpiece.

Hello, I've been a big blackberry fan for many years. I must say I'm not impressed by their new devices.

Everybody's building smaller and smaller devices - except RIM. Their phones are GROWING. 7230 was smaller than 7290, and now 8700 is gigantic.

As much as I love push mail - they gotta get their R&D straight. Buy the Nokia E61 (or Samsung SGH-i320 when it gets out) instead. The Nokia E61 has support for BlackBerry push, is small, sexy and stable.
