switching from Verizon?

I am currently using a Blackberry 7250 with Verizon, but I am thinking of switching to a Blackberry 8700, so I would have to switch service to T-Mobile or Cingular. I am not sure if this is worth the hassle or not.

1. Any comparisons of service, coverage, dropped calls, sound quality between Verizon, T-Mobile, and Cingular?
2. With my current setup, I have a special Blackberry e-mail, and I can forward copies of my personal e-mail to this Blackberry e-mail address (the alternative of having the Blackberry poll my pop server seemed lame by comparison). Can I do the same thing with Cingular or T-Mobile, and does it work as well? Will I have to switch my Blackberry e-mail address?
3. Any information on when the Blackberry 8700 is coming...

If its an 8700 device your seeking, you may want to wait a few months. Verizon is releasing an 8700 CDMA blackberry late summer/early fall

Thanks for the reply! I am curious how you know this. Neither Verizon nor Blackberry seem willing to provide any information....

I switched from Verizon to Cingular because I couldnt wait to get the blackberry and verizon didnt have it.

I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE!!!!

Cingular sucks compared to Verizon. Call quality is MUCH worse and so is coverage. It takes between 10 and 45 minutes for an email to show up. If I am in a meeting in a conference room with a speakerphone I have to turn it off because GSM phones make the speakerphone sound like aliens are landing just from recieipt of emails. People tell me they call my phone and it doesnt ring and it wont let them leaver a voicemail.

I am waiting for the 8700 to come out on Verizon and then I'm switching back!!

why would anyone want a blackberry from verizon.. the call quality on my 8700c is outstanding no matter where i am whether it be NYC or the hamptons. i would also recommend the 7130 from cingular... great size reception and battery life... only draw back is multi-tap keyboard but i got used to that real quick and now love it.. when is the last time verizon had a decent blackberry??? there last one was such a piece of crap

What's wrong w/Verizon? Had my 7130e for 8 months without a problem. And Verizon is releasing the 8703e on 8/28 for those who like the full QWERTY keyboard.
