Motorola RAZR V3i / V3t / V3e / V3r
Release Date
Great News... I went to my cingular store today and asked about the V3i and they said that they would have it on September 6. I live in the Twin Cities and I don't know if that is the nation wide release date but it is for the Twin Cities.

The sky has been falling so many times on this one that until it is actually IS BEING SOLD at Cingular stores or by them on the web, anything said about future release dates is meaningless (even if the info you have happens to be right this time - even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut).
I did not get a v3 in January because with the contract I did not want to be stuck with that out of date technology until 2008. Now if I get the v3i I'll be stuck with it until almost 2009 .... hmmmm
That's why I've given up on the v3i and will start waiting for the k1 or the v3maxx or decide on something from another manufacturer. Of course by the time the k1 or maxx ship ... next summer I presume ... ha ha ... there will be the next soon to...

I agree... i don't even mention "coming soon" phones to customers anymore... it's like your shooting yourself in the foot cuz they get mad at you when it doesn't show up...

Why the heck would you even want a V3i? You live in a market that has EVDO on Verizon and you want to step down and get a Razr that is limited....I guess that doesnt make much sense to me....

Limited would be a nice way of putting it. Verizon hasn't done that with any of their blue-tooth phone's have they? Your logic is a bit off at least with a cingular phone you don't have a company maiming your phone !!!

I would definetly have to agree with you on that. Now that the V3i is finally out it just doesn't seem worth getting
