Failed Testing?

I know how many of you find store reps info as believable as Bill Clinton, but I talked to a manager at a cingular store who really knew his stuff. He was very knowledgeable on everything.When I asked him about the V3i he said that it had failed testing, and that there was a very small chance it would be coming to cingular. He said if it came out it would probably be later than the previous release date of March. Meaning it would come out after the new 3G phones did, and would be obsolete, causing cingular not to launch it. Now I am not saying this is the truth but it is just what I heard, from the most knowledgeable guy I have ever talked to in a cingular store. Yeah I can believe that because that is kind of what happened to the Motorola V635. It never came out to the states and that could possibly be what is going to happen to the V3i.

I work for Cingular in the B2B area. The only release date I or anyone else has seen has been Mar 1st. No news in failed testing, no issues with the device that we are aware of. Now I may be totally off the rocker here but there are a few people that like to make themselves seem smarter then they actually are. It makes no sense not to release this phone after how well the Razrs have and are doing...look for it around March...remember this is a tentative release date...probably will change
