I've been looking at the old RAZR model for a while and thinking about changing from my Nokia 6230 to it when I saw that an upgrade to the RAZR was coming out.

This new RAZR would be perfect if it were on par with the VZW RAZR or Sprint's Blade. To do that it would have to have one important thing...UMTS or HSDPA. Both the V3c and the Blade have EVDO. For Moto to only include GPRS with a POSSIBLE EDGE upgrade is laughable in 2006!!! Cingular had better just keep with the old model until Moto can get them on par with the CDMA world...

Sad Motorola, really sad.

Actually having seen and used this phone, it is quite stunning and will likely sell very well.

Not everyone is like you and do not need the high speed data capabilities. The phone and camera are exceptional on this new RAZR.

Some phones just aren't for everyone. Some phones don't have good enough features for some people and some phones don't have the 'right' features for others. I'm personally thrilled with the news of the new RAZR.

C'mon, there's nothing wrong with putting an unstable chip in so that it frustrates users that just laid out big coin for an EDGE capable high end phone! I mean, that's a MUCH better strategy than waiting until they get it right!
