Does anyone else have trouble receiving messages while in roam mode? Messages send out immediately when roaming, but messages from other users are not received unless in the Sprint PCS coverage area. Is there any way to receive text while roaming? Thanks.

I have had a little bit of trouble recieveing texts while roaming, it depends on the number of bars that I have on the phone, if I have more that 2 bars then the text messages come through as normal, I had the same problem when I am in a sprint service area, I put an antenna booster on my phone and that seemed to fix the problem in certain areas

When I'm in the service area, messages come through the same no matter how many bars. When the phone roams at Purdue, there are 6 bars from Verizon roaming and messages will only come through once the phone is on the right side of the campus and gets zero or one bars from Sprint. I think its a Sprint thing, cuz the LG PM225 can only receive messages, but not send them during roaming. Oh well.

When you phone is in automatic and you are right outside of Sprint coverage and your phone is toddling back and forth between sprint and roaming, first of all it runs your battery down more. Secondly your messages can be delayed because the network (whether Sprint or a Roaming Partner) it trying to locate your phone but it keeps switching back and forth and the network keeps losing you.

I live in a roaming area and have had no...
