Quick vibrate mode?

On my old LG VX-6100, I just had to hold the volume down button with the flip closed to quickly set it to vibrate mode. Is there any similar thing with the A900, the only way I know how is to open up the phone and set it to no ringer and turn on the vibrate.

You can either open the flip and hold # for a couple of seconds, or you can open the flip and hit the down rocker until you reach vibrate.
