Sending pictures Need help

When I try to send a picture to a friend that has Cingular the receiver gets a message stating that the file is too big. Am I doing something wrong or is there a way that I can send the picture so that other non-sprint subscribers can receive it? I am sending the pictures from my album. Please help. THX

Your phone can only send a picture that is smaller than 512 kb. Cingular may not be able to receive pictures with this much memory. Try using a smaller resolution. This will make the file size smaller.

P.S.- Your friend may be able to view the pic online.
