I need help playing MP3's on the phone
I have hooked up my phone to the comp and transfered an MP3 to my phone but I can't play the file on my phone. Am I using the right format? What is the deal?

Mp3 is the right format for the phone. Make sure you transfered them into your media folder. If you have the driver and the phone is recognized as a mass storage device, it shouldn't be a problem.
However, the first time I did this, I wasn't able to play Mp3's either. I talked to Samsung and they said to try again. I erased all files from my media folder, dropped them back again, and it was it. It played it just fine.
I think it may have something to do with the initial format of the mass storage...

Excellent, Amazingly enough that was exactly the problem and I figured it out before. Thankyou anyway.

Thank you soooooo much!!! Yes, i just deleted the db folder that was residing inside the MEDIA folder that was on the phone and then copied over my mp3, and now the phone recognizes it! Thank you thank you!!
