songs on minisd

I just bought a 1GB Minisd for my Sanyo 9000 and I am having trouble getting it to work. When I insert my minisd into my computer, it says please insert the car into the "E" drive. At first, it was saying that my card could not be formatted. Can someone please guide me through the step by step for downloading my songs onto the minisd so that I can play them. I have over 150 songs that I want on it so I can listen to them while walking to class.

Just pop the card into your phone, then go to:

1. Menu
2. Tools
3. miniSD
4. miniSD settings
5. format

After the card is formatted, stick it into your computer, then just drag and drop your MP3 files into the folder marked "Media" that was created automatically during the format process.

Remember, the phone ONLY supports MP3 files, so WMA (Windows Media Audio) files will not play. They will show up in the media player, but they will not play.

To make sure they are MP3 files, right click on the file (song), then go to properties. In the second line it will either say MP3 file or Windows Media Audio file.

Hope this helps... good luck.
