Maybe you should go over to sprintusers.com before making such comments. This phone has been getting great reviews to this point. Research before you speak.

I wouldn't say it's ugly, but it looks like the last 20 handsets Sanyo's released. The company's always gone with function over form anyway, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. They've always produced superior products for Sprint. Once people start seeing what Helio's got in the pipeline, I think Sprint and Verizon will rethink their stance.

If he doesn't know that Sanyo makes the best damn Sprint phones on the planet, it's not even worth it to waste your breath. Besides the ordinary design, it's still got quite a few high end features. It'll sell just like any other Sanyo phone...in droves.

This phone is way better than the 5600... The camera quality indoors and in poor lighting conditions is fixed, and the built in memory is upped from 3 to 18 mb . . . I would buy it if it had bluetooth . . . waiting to see what xmas brings

We all knew that the 9000 would be the EV-DO version of the 5600, that is old news.

What this phone does have that the 5600 doesn't is far improved night picture taking and 18 MB of shared memory for your downloads. Cut Sanyo some slack, they will surprise us with the "Big" one for 2006.

And before you laugh at this phone, have you ever tried using it? The www.sprintusers.com reviews so far have been good to excellent.

I'd also check my spelling before talking any crap. If you're going to spread thorns don't go barefoot. AXactly. What a joke... and that 4 in your name is clever. Do you write your own material? I've never seen a 4 used like that. And you take it and out of context and use it in place of the word "for." What a clever, smart young lad you must be. I'm sure you really are a "stunner4life" wooing the ladies with your impressive spelling skills. Or wooing the ladies with less impressive spelling skills than your own. That would more than likely take 5 minutes.

Keep up the good work. I'll take your ...

Granted that the comment was moronic, but don't bash the guy because he's not a world class speller. We're not here to grade anyONE. What we are here to grade is phones, and he gave a poor post on the Sanyo because he's probably never had one. Sounds like someone saying "that Lexus (Sanyo) is pathetic" when they pull up to McDonalds in a Hyundai (Moto, Nokia)!

Would you mind elaborating on what was so "crappy" about the 5600? Was it the mini-sd slot, the 1.3 megapixel camera, readylink?? Oh, it must have been the 262K screens!

I've never heard one person who had a Sanyo phone say they didn't like it. Just me though.

I just figured someone who lacked the cognitive capacity to spell "exactly" probably couldn't possibly have the capacity to judge whether or not a phone is a beater or not. I probably shouldn't use big words like "cognitive capacity" though.
