Firmware D820 PLEASE HELP

wut exactly dus firmware do?(wut is it) n r the D820 n T809 diffrent?PLEASE HELP

for the most part they are the same. except for a few things:
rings and vibrates at the same time
custom short cuts
ascending ringers for 2 secs not 7
theres now a red skin instead of tmobile one
pix on the camera are used as full wall papers so that you don't have to take a pix in 240x320.

and there are a few more. some mite say its not worth the time to do. i belive it was. its the little things that count. i love being able to hear and feel my ringer. i haven't missed a call since i updated. hope this helps

red skin is an option to turn the menu red. as for the ascending ringer thats when the phone starts low then gets high.

also if u uograde to the d820 n dont like it can u bring it back to the t809?

yes you can. you just need te iso for the t809.

I bought a "Samsung D820" from eBay source in the USA because I wanted to use the answering machine function of the D820 in a country in Africa. Unfortunately the one I have do not have the answering machine function although the manual I downloaded says it has. Any advise is highly appreciated (softawre,etc..).
