Finally some phones to shut up all you doubters and haters who thinks T-Mobile has no good high-end phones. This one is way sicker then the RAZR, PEBL (another T-Mo exclusive), or V360. Samsung coming for that NUMBER ONE SPOT!!

Actually Nokia is coming for that number one spot!
Dont count Nokia out on the "high end slider" market.

Great phone, been using it for 3 days now. It does however have some ergonomic issues, for example- the clear button underneath the four ways is way too close and you will hit it a lot!! The number keys are not very easy to dial becaused they are lower than the sides of the phone where it slides, and the camera is very awkward to rotate. Other than that it's pretty sweet( great screen, LOUD clear speaker for music playback).

Same here, my coverage in SoCal has been just fine. As a matter of fact, it has been better than my Nextel coverage and most of my friends Sprint coverage.

I've never had any issues with my T-Mobile service anywhere here in the US. I had a couple minor billing issues while I was on the east coast (Late Billables from Cingular, because T-Mobile does not provide service in North Carolina) and a couple reception issues while traveling in (very rural) Oklahoma, where AMPS is the only service. 😛 Overall, the voice quality and the signal quality have been wonderful. The fact that T-Mobile has the Personal Coverage Check online @ T-Mobile.com is wonderful, so I know whether I will be in coverage or not.

Ahh, a breath of fresh air. Thank you, my friend, for posting this comment. For all of the Cingular haters out there, if you care to elaborate on this little fact for a moment... T-Mobile wouldn't have half of the coverage they have if not for the roaming partner agreement with Cingular. Cingular's network is MUCH larger and vastly superior to T-Mobile's network. Sure, T-Mobile has a few decent phones and good customer service, but the coverage just isn't there without Cingular's GSM network. T-Mobile was smart enough to know when they were beat in the wireless game. That's why they proposed the agreement...

Their GSM network became larger after the aquisition of AWS. If you look at who really owns the big orange map that Cingular advertises more than half of it does NOT belong to them. The roaming agreements work both ways, if it were not for T-Mo, Cingular would hardly have any service in Pac coast. Here in Conn. we have one thing that holds true for all the mobile companies: they are all substandard for coverage.

You're right, cingular has a lot of antennas, but where I live reception isn't too hot even with that huge network. Tmo on the other hand never seems to drop a call.

I agree, I work for T Mo, and I LOVE this phone. Its so sleek, great resolution, amazing camera quality and a surprisingly crisp sounding mp3 player with stereo speakers. I love it, can't wait to sell it on Monday!
