Will it really come out next week?
My cingular phone just died. I want to switch to tmobile to get this. I am willing to go phoneless for a week to get this. I called tmobile and they were like "oh we don't know" 🙄 . I want it now!!!!

YES - in fact, I picked up two t809s at the T-Mobile store last night. They let me go ahead and purchase them before Monday because I've been talking to them about it so long. I also activated 4 new lines with them... But they're for real, and they're awesome...

That it will come out is pretty certain, next week, probably. I am fairly sure (not on the inside loop mind you) that the powers that be want this one out in time to sell in for Christmas. I know I'm asking my mommy and daddy and Santa and anybody else for it... or for a Visa gift card I can use to buy it.

Should be up for sale on Friday, the T-mo stores have it in stock, we are not allowed to sell it till that day.

spoke with tmobile today and was told they will have 5 phones to sell on Monday. Apparently, all corporate stores only get 5 phones the 1st week. I'll be there early.

The confirmed date is monday the 12th in most places. But in other rare cases, the phone was released on the 5th and the 9th. I'm NOT A Tmo rep or anything, but I hail from 2 states, primarily....some places in Miami, FL have the phone out on the 5th and 9th - I'm assuming it's because Miami is what's called a 'hot release' city, it's where many many products come out first (check out the cars, for the most part, Miami has THE newest models anywhere). In VA where I currently live...DC and Alexandria at least, no store is releasing the phone before the 12th, as a matter of fact, many of them don't even have it stocked yet. And yes....I've called practically all the corporate stores to confirm this.
