🙂 I have actually gotten to play with this phone, as I am a T-Mobile rep. A Samsung rep came to our store, and was showing it off, preety much letting us view it before we sell it. The Samsung guy was actually watching a Lord of the Rings segment on it, great picture quality! Hopefully this will be on eof many phones to come to T-Mobile's line-up, which I have to admit, is quite subpar.

Did he watch the video in portrait or landscape mode? Do you know if the phone support landscape mode video viewing? Thanks.

I currently have the motorola v330 and would like to make a switch. how would you compare the t-809 to the v360? The only thing I don't like about the v360 is that it is tri-band rather than quad band. Key things I am looking for are edge, bluetooth, good reception, easy to use, and preferably quad band.

I am a little concerned about comments re the t-809 having little buttons since I have kind of big fingers. I could get the v360 and keep the v330 for when I travel abroad, since my problems with the v330 are pretty minor. But should I maybe just leap right over the the t-809?

Thanks.

I also have big hands, and unlike the P777, which had rather small buttons, I find that the buttons on this phone has good size buttons. To me this phone is quite comperable, if not better than the V330 and the V360. It has Bluetooth, Quad-band, and has EDGE capabilities. For a Samsung I was quite, quite suprised. I think that it will be a good buy.

I got a chance to play with the phone in October. It has a good feel to it. It has that new T-Mobile support icon feature on it. I wonder if it supports HTML websites.

While its a great phone (im using one right now) it does have some ergonomics issues, the 4 way buttons are too small and the c button under them is too close, so i acidentally hit it a lot. the camera is awkward to swivel and while the number buttons on the keypad are pretty big they lack tactile feel and the way they are recessed means you cant really dial without looking. I still recommend it though because this phone gets a lot of attention and makes people envious of your phone, now if they can just stop putting their fingerprints on the screen...
