Is it true that if I use my treo 700W as a wireless modem for my laptop and I use Aol Instant Messenger, that I will get charged text messages?

From my experience, if you access text messaging from the internet... You will not be charged... If you send it from the phone... You will be charged..

I can't believe you have not been caught yet using PDAnet...

I don't think you will ever get an answer to that one, I have been trying for like 4 months to find out. I think this is one that no one simply knows the answer to... ☹️

As long as you dont start downloading from torrent sites or anything like that you are fine. Assuming you have the unlimited data plan, of course.

Stay under 5 gigs/month and youre good.

Over 2 yrs and no prob
