I just noticed today VZW has the WX now instead of the W - Whats the real differences?

I noticed on phonescoop that someone said the WX allows for tethering on the WX (and I know from owning the 700W that it wont do this natively...

Anything else significantly different?

to tether a treo 700w to your laptop or other computer you need 3 things.
1. the internet connection through verizon wireless,if this is your carrier.
2.an active sync data cable or bluetooh or infared.
3. a usb port if you use the active sync cable.

Verizon has blocked the dial up network connection in our treo 700w. There is software from PdaNet that they will let you try free for 7 days and buy for $34 that will fix this and connect you to the internet on your computer using the data plan from your carrier.

A couple things, I don't think this is approved by VZW and they may consider it hacking. I heard it is undetectable unless you start downloading gig after gig of junk or things not supported or used by your smartphone. I know...

Does anyone know why this has 1xEVDO Release 0 for packet data speed instead of the newer, faster Revision A speed capability?
I would think that especially for PDAs, they'd want to put the faster speed on it, especially for when you use it for tethering?

As a person that has used both, the 700wx, I must say that the WX is better. Why?

Sorry, I pushed enter too quickly. What's better about the 700wx is that:

1. It has more ram that any of the current Windows phones under Verizon and Sprint
2. Music can be heard out of BOTH ears instead- of one, like the 700w and 650 (Thank you, Palm, for finally correcting that).
3. It can be used as a laptop.
4. It's certainly not as slow.
5. The bluetooth can connect to a car {which would be great if I had one}

If I can think of more, I'll let ya know.
