I just got Jabra BT 250V and I have a lot of statics. Anyone had a similar experience with this headset?

I had it when I had an LG VX8100 and had the same problem. Poor distance as well. I was going to get it swapped under the warranty but lost it and the problem solved itself.

Try the Logitech or Plantronics headsets. I have sold many of these and have had zero returns, unlike many of the other models that always seem to get returned to my store. My favorite is the Logitech "Mobile Freedom Headset" with the windstop microphone. It is not as trendy as some of the others but wow, what a performance.

Same issues with earlier (BT 200) model on PPC-6700; static, 2 foot range
BEWARE the Logitech Mobile Freedom on PPC-6700 :
volume @ max is unacceaptably low anywhere but sitting in a quiet room. The worst part is you can't hear the phone ringing through the headset if there is any amount of moderate noise. No way to adjust on the phone, no ROM updates on the horizon to address this known 6700 issue
(BTW this HS works well on every other BT system I've used, is great in noisy environments)
