Did those who currently own this phone purchase it through Sprint's 800 number as a business customer?

If not, how did you purchase the phone?

Thanks,

I also have a business account, and received this little juicy phone last week. Great package but still trying to learn about it. If anybody knows any tricks or if there is any web site support about it, please let me know!

I bought mine from 'telesales' on Monday. The experience was a nightmare. The sales rep hardly spoke english, repeated everything I said (incorrectly), put me on hold for each answer that he had to get from someone else, and lied about the 'instant' rebate.

Regardless, the unit arrived next day and I've been struggling with inadequate documentation since then.

But... I love the unit!

I am a consumer account... not a business account and the sprint 800 number sold it to me... not sure why. But I called and the consumer side connected me to the business side and a guy told me he could sell it to me even though I was not a business account. He sold it to me and I have the phone. Make sure you seperate the rebate from the phone and make it two orders because the rebates are backordered. They got me the phone in one business day... overnight UPS and no extra charge for the shipping... that I know of

I have been a Sprint customer for several years and ordered the 6700 on Wednesday via "customer care" by phone. The CC rep hardly knew anything about the phone or plans necessary for the phone. She was also unaware of how to obtain a rebate despite the fact that the Sprint web site even shows there is an "instant rebate". I agreed to have the phone billed to my Sprint account and was assured that the phone would be in my hands in 2-3 business days. Four days later I get a cold call from Sprint asking for my credit card number before they could ship the phone. I requested a supervisor and they finally relented and are allegedly sending the phone out Monday, and billing my Sprint account as originally agreed. Still no word on how I am go...
