3 questions about my Verizon 6700.....

1) I went to the Verizon store today and purchased the Motorola HT820 BlueTooth headphones and the guy told me that they would work for my phone (listening to MP3s), however I needed to download some special software that he explained to me (however it wasn't there). Are ANY Blue Tooth headphones compatible with this phone, if so, how do I make it so I can listen to the MP3s?

2)For some odd reason, people who I am text messaging are getting my e-mails attached to the text message. I AM NOT forwarding anything or accidentally sending the text, but I'll text someone and they will say "you just forwarded 4 of your e-mails to me". This happens about once a week. Any idea what is causing this or how to make this stop?

3) Verizon phones ...

1. Bluetooth Audio Today. This is a today screen plugin that works great. All you have to do before you listen to your MP3's is click on the Bluetooth symbol on the Today Screen and magically, all your sound is funneled through your HT820 headset. (you may have to hit your headset button after activating but not always)

2. Don't know what is wrong here except you probably set it up wrong.

3. Pda's have lots of GPS programs. You'll have to search. I don't use this.

Is BlueTooth Audio Today something that I have to download? I don't see a Bluetooth symbol on my today screen anywhere. Can you please explain how I access this feature? Thanks.

I'm sorry...I forgot to put the link....Yes it is a program to download. Go to www.trianglepowers.com/ppc6700. Then click on the Today Screen plugins. It really is a great program. I have the HT820 as well and use it all the time.

About #2 - I've had the same problem, it isn't just you. It's only happened about 3 or 4 times total, but it is more than just an annoyance - I use my XV-6700 to receive work e-mail, and I'm not particularly keen on people I text getting to randomly read some of my e-mail.

Often the TXT recipient gets 30+ text messages in a row, with the contents of one of my e-mails spanned across those messages.

I suspect it is the "Wireless Sync" client, but I cannot confirm this yet, nor can I reproduce the phenomenon at will. 😡

Oh yeah, for the commenter that suggested you had something set up wrong, I doubt that. I even hard-reset my device and completely re-setup all my e-mail, etc. and...

I don't use "Wireless Sync" so you're right, it could very well be that.
