real GPS ala TomTom etc.?
Can the built in GPS be used in leui of a traditional GPS card when using mapping software like TomTom and Mapopolis? I heard there were phone able to do this...

The 6700 does not have a usable GPS. However, I purchased a Pharos i500 bluetooth capable GPS from Dell for $150-$20 rebate.
I also purchased Odyssey navigation software for approx $60 during their holiday upgrade.
And now having bought Verizon's PDA mount for my truck...it's pretty sweet. For about $200 I have entered the world of GPS!
(as opposed to $1,200 for it to be pre-installed in my truck and $400 for most portable GPS units)
