Data plan questions
I am going to be getting one of these phones real soon. I just want to keep my existing text messaging plan and my mobile web plan...no data plan, too expensive. I think from what I'm reading I can do this and still use the phone for Wifi when I'm in a hotspot. My question is:
1. How do I configure the phone so I am not hitting the data network but can still do calls, wifi, mobile web and texting?
2. What is the best website for hacking this phone.
3. I read that the software has just been updated, will I be able to do this myself if the one I get from ebay is not up-to-date?
4. I heard one of the fixes was wifi and phone are now possible at the same time...is this true?
