How do you shut the phone off? I just got it last night and couldn't figure out how to shut it off so the battery died? I press the button at the top but it just makes the screen get dark.

Also is it possbile to set the red period button when typing numbers so it doesn't have to be pressed each time I want to enter a number?
How can you dictate where files are stored, music etc? I have a 1gb card but I don't believe it is being utilized. Is there a way to automically delete temp internet files?

The power button only turns the PDA portion on and off. To turn off the phone you need to put the phone into flight mode.

It's a two-function button. Pressing and releasing the button turns it off. Holding the button in turns off back-lighting.
