Sim Card

Does anyone know if the PPC-6700 from Sprint comes with a SIM card, ie works in Europe or the far east, as well as the US?

If Sprint does not have a SIM card PPC-6700, does another provider?

Another option would be to buy one in Europe or the far east that does have a SIM card, bring it to the US and buy a SIM card from t-mobile for instance. Does that work?

Sprint does not use sim cards. Cingular and Nextel do.

This phone shows a sim looking cut out under neath the battery.. So there is a possiblity that maybe latter it could be used as another model.. But as the 6700? Your answer is no it wouldn't work.. The 6700 is CDMA, Cing/Tmbl are GSM.... DL

the sim looking cutout is because the phone model is designed for cdma/gsm companies by audiovox. The sprint version will never use sim cards as cdma doesnt utilize sim cards. If you take a gander at the 6600 it has the same cutout underneath the battery.
