I've already downloaded some mp3's onto the phone. I can't choose them as a ringtone though. I've even downloaded some mp3 ringtones and still can't use them as a ring tone. Does anyone know what I have to do to make these a ringtone. Do I have to convert them into something else? THanks

Thank you! I was able to use that site and convert the mp3's to wav files. They are now saved in my phone as WAV files. BUT.... I still can't figure out how to use them as ringtones. They are in my media center, I've them from card to phone, but they don't appear when I go to view ringtones. Any suggestions?
Thanks again!

I used WebJAL to put the WAV files onto my phone. You'll need a USB cable to download them to your phone. If you don't have one, check out ebay. I got mine for about $25. It pays for itself (I have 28 ringtones on my phone). Most cables come with a CD that also has ringtones, wallpapers, programs, ect. Check it out.

Ok, so I can convert them to WAV and then bluetooth them to the phone? How about the bluetooth functionality of this phone as far as transferring pictures from one phone to another. Does that work?

Yes, you need the program and cable to download ringtones. Go here www.geocities.com/nextelringtoneman to download software that converts MP3 files to Wav files.

I appreciate all your help. One more quick question. Does this phone support pop email? If I cant bluetooth them, at least I may be able to email them. Again, thanks for the help.

re: mp3 to ring tone

I've converted the mp3's to .wav and put them on the card in the audio file... when I access the media center, they show up in the CARD:all area. When I move to phone or copy to phone they don't show up in my ringtones... in fact I can't find them in the phone menu. Where do they go and how do I get them into ring tones?

Unfortunately, all ringtones need to be downloaded DIRECTLY to the phone. I tried, myself, many times to put songs on my memory card and transfer them to my phone to use as ringtones. Each time ended in failure. You'll need WebJAL as I mentioned before.
